Thank you Dr. George Tiller. Thank you for your service to women in their most desperate times. Your dedication will never be forgotten.

For those wondering what may be going on on their dashboards when they see this man’s name, George Tiller was a  physician  who was brutally murdered by anti-abortion activists. Today is the 3 year anniversary of his death.

My family personally knew Dr. Tiller. He was so kind to my sister who made the tough decision to have a third-trimester abortion. He was by her side through everything and he was just an incredible man. He truly cared for his patients, as did his wonderful staff. We remember him wearing his button that said “Attitude is everything” and how gentle and compassionate he was through the whole process. He and his staff were always concerned about his patients safety as well, and he tried his absolute best to keep everyone away from harm when the protesters would get a little out of hand. He was truly a hero. His life was cut too short to say the least. We will never forget you, Dr. Tiller. RIP.

I really do. Especially when it’s directed at me. His smile is beautiful. I am so happy that his dreams are coming true. And I can’t tell him how I feel since I know that he’s not interested in dating anyone due to trying to achieve his dreams. I still support him from the sidelines.
